Rail Advisor to Warwickshire County Council


SLC Rail is the appointed Rail Advisor to Warwickshire County Council under a consultancy framework agreement, originally lasting for two years and subsequently extended to four years.

Warwickshire County Council has committed to delivering several rail projects over the coming years, with additional feasibility work on some longer-term schemes.  The team at SLC Rail has a proven track record with the client in facilitating delivery of rail projects.  The Council has plans for new stations, footbridge projects and station enhancements in the immediate future which all form part of the Rail Advisor Framework with SLC Rail.

Each project is assigned a core project team to drive the delivery on the Council’s behalf.

Ongoing activity

We are currently working together on rail strategies, feasibility studies and early stage scheme development.

The combined project teams are also progressing the new Kenilworth Station and the extensive works under the Coventry to Nuneaton Upgrade.
