Dr Shelley Stiles is a chartered health and safety professional with over 20 years’ experience in rail engineering, civil engineering, and manufacturing. She is skilled in occupational health, safety, quality and environmental management, and engineering system safety, across both public and private sectors. Predominantly in the construction industry, her experience includes the management of HSEQ functions for a portfolio of building, civil engineering and rail construction projects, with time spent both on and off site, driving an improvement in health and safety culture with a core philosophy of making good safety habitual at the work face.
Clare Richardson BSc (Hons) CMIOSH has spent over 20 years working in health and safety in sectors including transport and general construction. She has a specialist interest in linking health, safety and wellbeing. She was responsible for developing and implementing the project occupational health programme at Birmingham New Street Station, working with B&CE (and other not-for-profit organisations), MIND (the mental health charity), NHS and other agencies to develop improvements in workplace health and wellbeing. A qualified mental health first aider, Clare has proactively worked on raising the profile and awareness of workplace health hazards to treat health like safety, supporting organisations to develop suitable occupational health strategies from legal compliance to best practice.
