A week ago Birmingham’s Camp Hill Line reopened to passengers for the first time in 80 years, with new stations at Kings Heath, Moseley Village and Pineapple Road.

This milestone marked the completion of the West Midlands Rail Programme, a trailblazing investment programme – led by Transport for West Midlands and West Midlands Rail Executive – bringing together over 10 industry-leading organisations to deliver five new and two significantly upgraded stations within the region. This programme demonstrates how coordinated, strategic rail investment can reconnect communities and unlock the full potential of our regional networks and sets a clear path for others to follow.

We’re proud to have helped conceive, develop and deliver the programme on behalf of the West Midlands Rail Executive, working alongside our JV partner AECOM – Transportation and a wide range of partners to bring these transformational projects to life. Collaboration has been central to its success, bringing together industry partners, stakeholders and funders behind a shared ambition to accelerate delivery and do things differently.
